![]() ![]() Great build quality too, I've been playing this quite a bit! Both these altos are tremendous value!ģ) Hohner President Tenor: a great tenor from the 50s (at least by the info I could find on the web), clear lacquer is probably at (conservatively) 90%, cannot find a dent or a repair anywhere. ![]() Personal view: another really good alto, I was extremely skeptical, but as the alto above, this sounds great (I'd love to try the equivalent tenor!) and and has some nice little details (like the little ring above the neck tenon, a la Selmer Reference). Personal view: I was amazed at the quality of this horn, really well put together, headless point screws, perfect lacquer, but what really staggered me was the sound, nice and round as I like an alto and the top end much easier (and not as thin) than the equivalent TJ model (Classic), to me it sounds better than the YAS275.Ģ) Windcraft Alto WAS100 (by Dawkes): as the Sakkusu above, this too has been hardly played! Clear lacquer, complete of case, sling, WIndcraft mouthpiece and new reeds. ![]() So a complete package for a starter, needs absolutely no work. 1) Sakkusu Alto (by sax.co.uk): clear lacquer, older model with black pearls, hardly used (it is actually as new!), includes Yamaha mouthpiece, sling, a couple of new reeds and case (this also nearly new). ![]()
